97 Town and Country - Transmission question

Are there any experts out there that can tell me if a '96 transmission will work in my '97 T&C? Both are the 3.8L. Mine was built in 12/96, but titled a '97. Looking at the '96 it appears identical, connectors and all, but.....

it should work just fine with them both being 3.8l

you need to find out if they are both 3spd or 4 spd and if your computer will work on it.

They are both 4-spd. (OD trans) and the connectors are identical... I'll probably go ahead and try it. I'll let everyone here know what happens....
