Hey guys, I had some bad luck this week. Got my car towed, and they must have dragged it backwards onto the flatbed god only knows how they got it off, without ever being in neutral. Anyways its an eclipse gt auto. Now anytime the transmission shifts to a higher gear past 2k rpms, the whole car jerks and shudders. Almost feels like its missing or slipping. This only happens when it shifts, its fine when Im in 3rd or 4th and the rpms gradually rise above 2k. What could be wrong? Thanks

Most likely they broke a motor mount or suspension bushing. Check all of them. If they physically broke anything inside the tranny you would not be driving now. Good Luck.

No, it's FWD and it was a flatbed. Would the rpms spike before each gear shift like that, if it was anything to do with mounts or suspension?
