Hey everyone!
Long time listener, first time writer!
I have the job of changing the engine in my niece's 97 Z24. What is the best way/easiest to pull motor? I have done Grand Prixs where you drop the whole assy out the bottom with the sub frame but that doesn not look quite the same on this car. Does it come out the top? Engine only or engine tranny combined? What is the easiest/best way?
Thanks,
Rich

Here is some guidlines for the 2200. They are not going to be the exact same, but damn close.

Well i pulled mine out the top and i have done it twice... just have to pull it apart from the tranny and pull it out at an angle.

It must have a quad 4 in it.It will come out from the top if it is an automatic.Do not turn the engine backwards! If you turn that one backwards, bent valves.Turn the crankshaft as you are tightnining a bolt up.
