howto remove window rollers

Hey,

Im trying to get my door panels of so I can replace my factory speakers. I cant get the Window Rollers off. Is there any trick? without buying a special tool to remove them. its a 95 if that helps. Thanks :)

I did it once using the tip of my knife just slide it as flat as you can under the base of the window crank until you feel a notch, then push up hard.

After that I bought the removal tool for $8 at Autozone, it makes it really easy.
