Rear Fold-Down Seats

Anyone know how to get the rear seats to fold down in 04-05 GTP??? The manual says to pull on a ribbon, tab, cord, etc.?????? that supposedly is on the side of the seats, but I don't have anything there but that elastic rope/plastic piece that holds the seatbelt.... I'm close to just getting in the trunk and kicking them down!!!! Anyone know about this?
