97 Sunfire Horn Problems

Hello,

My horn in my 97 Sunfire makes a very quite noise (you can barely hear it outside) just wondering if there are any ideas what is worng with it? Should I replace it, or is there another problem?

when mine got smashed by a coon (how redneck of me) it got muffled REAL bad. I had to bend the mount back to get the sound to be loud again.

I just replaced my daughter's horn last week ('96). It cost $16.00 at Napa for a universal replacement horn, probably cheaper at other parts stores. The dealer horn is close to $40.00.

Horn located on passenger side in front of tire. Remove the bottom portion of the air dam to access from underneath front-end.
