2000 Bonneville Climate control

new guy with a big problem.......

I'm working on my brothers 2000 Pontiac Bonneville SSEI and it has a climate control issue. Whats happening is the AC works and blows cold on the passenger side but the drivers side blows warm, like you have the fan blowing and the ac off. I pullled the dash apart to check the actuator (hope thats spelled right) motors. I was told that there are 4 motors under the dash and in fact thats what I found. I took the motors out and rotated the doors by hand and still can't get the cold air to com out of the drivers side vents. I checked the motors out and reinstalled them and they all appear to be working.

So that leaves the contorl unit itself right? Well the local pontiac dealership told me that since the motors are working that he doubts the control unit would be out, which makes since to me. He also said that all though he hasn't seen any Bonnevilles with this problem he has seen quite a few Yukons and acouple Grand Prixs with the problem and it's typically a motor. But of course he can't tell me anything for sure until they hooks it up to a computer.

So does anyone know anything about this or can someone direct me to a site any help would be appreciated.
