:banghead: Hi there,
I hope my question doesn't sound tooooo dumb.
After driving my 95 Blazer 4.3 for 60,000mls,i believe it's time to change the plugs, not that she's not running fine but it may just be the rite time of the year.
When i looked in the engine comp.all i see is maybe 3-4 that i can reach.
Any suggestions to make this an easier job would be highly appreciated.

I haven't Attemped this on my truck but I believe you can access one or more through the wheel well. Have lots of extensions and swivels handy!

They are all reachable, most through the wheelwell, with the exception of #3 (drivers side of engine, hidden behind steering shaft). I've read that some folks have been able to get to that one with swivels, etc, but when I changed the plugs on mine I disconnected the steering shaft from the steering box. Less time, and less bloodshed for me anyway.

I have a 99 and it says there'd be an issue with the airbag retracting the steering shaft..what year is yours and do I have to worry about that.... ?

Anyone hear of such a thing ?

Mine is a 99 Bravada - didn't know anything about any airbag concerns. I probably should have RTFM before I did the work. Regardless, I didn't have any problems. Maybe just yank one of the battery cables to be safe?

the problem with the air bag is if u turn the shaft when it is not connected the position sensor will go all wacky u can disconnet the shaft just dont turn it
