I found a pretty nice '91 Supra Turbo, Blue/Blue. It's pretty much exactly what I'm looking for. He just replaced seals and head gaskets, its beautiful and looks like its in good condition from what I've seen so far.

What should I look for/Ask him about in terms of quality. He is asking quite a lot (7500) so even if i can bring it down a little I want to know its really nice for that amount. Can anyone post something about what I should check and make sure of? Is there anything potentially wrong with the Turbo that i could check by looking/driving it?

Also, if everything goes like it does in my dreams, and I get the car, what are some of the first mods I should look into. I'm excited to do a lot of work on it myself, but I am worried I lack the tools/experience to do much to it so if anyone knows some cheap/easy/worthwhile modifications that would be great too. THANKS

What else has he done to the car? replaced timing belt? water pump? hoses? whats the miles on the motor? is it original or replaced motor? because for 7500, you'll be able to get a dream mk3 supra with around or close to 400 horses...well thats my opinion...

AHH THANKS FOR REPLY

I was thinking the same thing, 7500 is a LOT for an MK3 it seems, even though this one only has 80,000. The seller says there is no rod knock, new tires, garage all its life. Other than replacing seals and gaskets and such, the vehicle is pretty stock. The exterior is in excellent shape as well. I dont know how much he would sway with the price, but what would you set it at? I was thinking around 6000-6500. Let me know what you think, thanks.

6500 would sound like a better deal. Considering that its still under the 100k mile marker. But in my opinion, 80000 mark is when the majority of the cars start to act up....ask him did the car need gaskets changed? or did he just decided to do it for safety? my 87 supra has 140 plus k without gaskets changed yet..and its still running like new. That shows signs of a good motor. But than again, thats my opinion on buying cars. But yea, for that, I would stay in the 6 grand range...
