It's on!!!

After hours of sweating, bitching, and scraped knuckles, I finally got my new Thermal Stealth cat-back on. Actually, the installation was a breeze...everything slipped into place like, well, remember the scene in "American Pie"? Yeah, something like that.
The painful and frustrating part was taking the stock system off. The hangers tried everything they could to keep me from getting them out of the rubber bands, but I finally got them. After those couple of hours (interrupted occasionally for a drink), it was only 15 minutes or so to get all the bolts in place and hangers hung.
I have to say this system is *sweet*! The 'lude feels like a different beast now, and the sound (which I didn't think I'd care about) is absolutely great! It rumbles and growls up to about 4k and just screams after that. Puts a smile on my face every time the throttle goes down!
Tomorrow is the first autocross with the new system in place, and I'm planning on a good result, now that I have my new toy installed. We'll see how it goes. In short, I strongly recommend Thermal for any 'lude owner who wants a cat-back system, and I also recommend www.rollhard.com for their service, prices, and quick shipping.
