Did you replace all the interior trim pieces with the black or have them painted? Just curious. Awesome job overall.

All the hard plastic trim pieces I had painted. All the Vinyl (doors, handles) I did myself with a can of vinyl paint from Pepboys, and the console was actually wrapped in in a black sewn-leather skin.

The engine before & after pics are the best.
A little Armour-All and sandpaper goes a long way eh???

Actually, Gunk brand engine degreaser did most of the hard work :) And instead of Armorall, I used another gunk product (cant remember the name :p ) that you spray on, then run the car for 30 mins, and the heat from the engine kind of "laminates" into that shiny protective finish.

wow, great job..i have an '87 V8 5.0L..its having some repairs done but i'm planning on restoring some things this summer..the after engine pic looks great..nice job...

Rather well, actually. I think im still gonna get new ones tho, the diamond spokes are a bitch to clean.
