Removing venture?

I've heard some discussion about removing the venture for better air flow. Can someone tell me what and where it is, and how to remove it? A pic would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

the veture is inside the top of the air box. Diconnect the intake hose and remove the top of the air box. Look inside the opening get a set of vise grips, grab a hold of the insert twist and pull it out.
