ok wat are the specs for the b18c1..........i have searched but i want specific information like rod stroke ratio......weight........redline......etc. also since the b16a2 has a r/s ratio of 1:74........does that mean it can rev higher than the gsr?.........i am looking to turbo either the b16a2 or the gsr........i am leaning toward the b16a2 because of the price.......i want to know whether or not getting the gsr will be worth it.......i am just looking for a fun quick car 2 drive/race with.

R/S ratio: 1.58:1
Weight will be just a few lbs more than the b16a (never seen anyone weigh it though).
But redline shouldn't matter. Unless you're going to upgrade the valvetrain and cams, the stock redline of any engine is exactly where it should be to make power. When people raise (or get rid of) the redline on stock blocks...they are f*cking morons. The engines only make power to a certain point (a little below the redline in most cases), so reving higher does nothing but put wear and tear on the engine components. If you do upgrade the valvetrain and cams, then you will NEED to dyno tune it to see where you're making power to. Just because you add those upgrades does not mean you're going to make power to 10,000 rpms. So redline should not even matter, especially since you're going to turbo it and will make enough power from that alone. But if by chance you do make power after redline with turbo, then when you get it tuned you'll know where to rev it to.
Whether the GS-R engine is worth it or not is up to you. It's not our $ it's yours.
The reason no one has responded is probably because all this info has been covered before. Hell I even searched google to make sure of the R/S ratio, found it in less than 2 minutes.
