It's just been announced that BMW have acquired a majority shareholding of Sauber, and will be fronting their own team in 2006.
The name is still undecided, as is the future of the Williams - BMW relationship (personally, I see Cosworth powering Williams next year and I hope the name will still have "Sauber" in it).

Pretty much as expected, still it is sad to see another privateer sell out and move on. :(
I thought BMW were contracted to supply Williams for 2006? Guess that can change. Maybe Williams and Cosworth could broker a deal with a major manufacturer (Audi?) to badge the engine?
