I have a 98 eagle talon m/t, not an esi or tsi. It has the 420a.It doens't happen all the time, just some times when I start it up and let it warm up. After a few minutes it starts spitting a little bit of water from the tailpipe Should I be worried of is it just shit that happens?? Thanks for the help.

Not a huge problem...

Usually happens if you only drive the car for short periods of time, and the exhaust does not heat up enough to evaporate all of the water that is produced after combustion. Don't really worry about it, unless it's an excessive amount, like if you let it sit and idle and theres puddles....

Yeah, not a big deal. I dont know what could cause LOTS of water, but | eclipse | is right, just water that didnt get evaporated from the exhaust system.

They are right.... exhaust vapor is partially water... the gases are hot but the exhaust pipes are not..yet.. so like a can of cold pop on a hot day it starts to condense water and that's why it comes out the back in liquid form.... once the pipes warm up to operating temperature the water can't condense onto a hotter surface and just goes buhbye....
I don't know if anyone has noticed this but cars/people that do shorter drives to work usually have to do exhaust repairs more often than people that drive longer distances.... just think of what that water does to your exhaust system when it is allowed to collect inside and not evaporate....rusty crunchies... exhaust(mufflers) usually rusts from the inside out....

Its not alot of water and it doesn't happen all the time like I said. Somtimes when it does it, after a few mins it can be a about a 3-4 in. across and about 4-5 in. long area of wetness. Thanx for the help. Damn Talon just keeps scaring me. nad on another note wtf is crankwalk? I see its the cause for damn near everything on here when it comes ti dsm's. Once again i appreciate it.

Check the faq post on the main room for the crankwalk question.
