99 gmc sierra

i need help, i have a 99 gmc sierra 1500 with the z71 package, but no remote, how do i know which remote i need? Also, i have water in the passenger floorboard. is this from the a/c, and how can i stop it? i dont believe its from the heater core, cause i am not losing any coolant and it doesnt smell like coolant inside. thanx

Tha dealer can help you with the remote. The A/C has an external drain for condensate outside on the firewall passenger side. It is an L-shaped rubber hose and can clog and cause the water to backup in the heater box. Take off the rubber hose and clean it out and that should take care of your water problem.
