You need to learn fiberglass before you learn carbon fiber. Yeah I have aim, TheSilentChamber.

you need to be a good glasser to learn CF. you have to be a great glasser to learn how to make CF look like the hoods and all that you see.
Start with a basic project, if youd like i can hook you put with a budget stereo system for less than $200 for the amp and woofers, mids and highs can come later, you can just replace the stock ones with some cheaper CDT componets.
things like kickpanels and basic fiberglass enclosures are where you need to start.
anyway, here is a kick ass sub and amp (sort of) system for less than $200.

1 RE audio RE 12, MSRP is around 100, but direct prices are cheaper. call RE to find out where you can buy direct or if you have a local delaer

all less than 200, so one month and you will have enough money for the drivers and the glassing materials.

and is it 150 extra or all...because you dont want to take away from gass money and insurance if to build an enclosure...lol. but you said you are doing it in your moms car so you could not have to be paying ofr your own gass and insurance...

Yea, how much you pay for your BMW? I was looking at the 98 eclipse because you can do alot with them and they are cheap i think the highest my parents will go is 3,500. and i have about 1000 saved up. So i want to spend 3000 on the car and 1500 hooking it up. As for the camry, its a piece so i just want to learn on it. my mom said i can do what ever i want exept mess up the paint. so i was looking at that speaker project. what exactly is fiberglass?

just like it sounds, its tiny fibres of glass... when added to resin (a hardener) it creates a pretty strong and stiff piece of "fiberglass"...

Fiberglass - its what dreams are made of.

Its a composite of small strands of glass and a resin. By themselves neither are very stong but when combind they make a very sturdy light weight structure. You can make simple to complex shapes, thicknesses, excetra.

to tell you the truth, its better to spend the extra grand and a half or so on a newer car with lower milage than think you are going to "trick it out" and it brakes down...

some car buying tips...
-get a mechanic to do a throught check on it before you purchase it
-look at when the oil and other fluids will need to be changed, its no fun to buy a car and then have to spend the money to have them changed...if it is passed do tell the selller to either take the money off the top or go and get the basic maintenance done before you buy the vehicle. this also includes the air filter.
-Check tire ware...it also isnt fun to have to replace the tires as soon as you buy the vehicle, dont only check the tread but also for dryrot. if the tires are long over do...tell the seller the same as with the basic maintanece with oil and all...
-dont be afraid to walk away, if thye just arent complying and are asking the top of your budget and refuse to get the maintanecne done and all for you...and if what they are asking is TMV...tell them you will think about it and keep searching...if nothing better comes up, though something usually will, then you can always go back to them.
-Never let them know that you like it (especially if buying from a used car dealership). they can use this as a tool to help them get more money out of it. act like you have another car, that is better, avalable for about the same price...
