Hey all,

I've seen these posts alot, and I know it gets annoying, but I was just wondering? What should I do next? My list of mods has grown pretty big in the last couple months, and now I don't know what to do next. NO TURBO!! As much as I would like one, it's not going to happen on this car. I was thinking, maybe next do the intake. All the manifolds I've seen are not 50 state legal. Should I get a TB? For my engine, what would be good? Is it worth it? Anyother ideas on what I should get? Keep in mind, money is a factor. lol. I do like exterior work, but I want the speed right now. Thanks in advance.

PS - Got some brakes and rotors coming in, so thats out of the question now too!

Well there is not much else you could do to your engine to be honest. The only other thing I would suggest is to built it up from the inside. Higher compression since you dont want to go the turbo route. But if you do, then that would be more money gone for a losing battle.(Money that COULD go toward low compression with a turbo) And about the TB, anything that is restrictive should be ported or replaced.i.e. TB and intake.

As for comestics, that is a endless journey. Good luck on your mods. I stopped modding my N/A because I was fighting a battle that couldn't be won.....not enough hp.

Sure hahn and other people have fast n/a to turbos, but I've never heard of a N/A eclipse out perform a turbo.

New wheels and tires always switch it up a bit...

Our cars are not built for performance or speed, so stick with what you got and now go for cosmetic shit. Youve pretty much done all the cheap performance shit, anything more and you will be dishing out big $$$, unless your a mechanic or know your way well around these cars. :2cents:

I've done all the work myself. I think I know my way around. My exhuast took 10 hours to do using basic handtools. New header and everything. No torch.

Im actually waiting for a friend to call with his 3000gt rims and tires. hes sellihg me his for $350. I got a hole in my back tire, so I have no choice.

don't waste time unbolting rusty bolts just use a sawsaw or however u spell it its alot easier to cut it out than unbolt tehn go back with all new stuff cause u don't want rusty bolts back in anyways

Actually, what I did was took a screw driver and a hammer and beat the shit out of the exhuast pipes. Hack sawed the muffler. The manifold bolts were pretty good. Soaked them for weeks before I actually took off the exhuast. They were good.
