TS-13 + Future = not good

Man.. i'm mad..

I put a few coats of future on my carbon fiber hood, hoping it would protect the decal from the dreaded TS-13 spray (to get a super gloss). The TS-13 ate through the Future and then through the decal as well. It already took me 3 tries to get the decal on correctly in the first damn place.. now I have to do it again.. aaaaaargh..

..vent over..

Try Modelmaster's metalizer sealer instead. I'm pretty sure it woun't eat your decal. I used it to cover my Original-Teile DTM Mercedes amongst others without any malicious reactions. Some of the cars treated this way is about 7-8 years old and still looks pristine.

or try microsol and light coats of duplicolor clear. That's what I used on my one nascar model and it came out fine.

What kind of CF decal?

I use TS-13 over Scale Motor Sports decals all the time, with no problem.
4-5 LIGHT coats 15minutes apart then 2-3 light/medium coats.

Polish after a few days to mirror shine.

That's the same method I've used with no problems. Marc
