2000 2 dr wrx

i was looking at possibly purchasing one of these. the one that i have in consideration has 89k on it but otherwise seems to be in good condition. what concerns would any of you that are seasoned with these cars have considering the mileage. i like this bodystyle and the fact that i would be moving into awd. just don't want to jump into a car and then have to fix things while im paying for it.

The USA didn't have a WRX until 2002, and by then it was only in 4 doors. Do you mean a 2.5 RS?

yeah i realized that after i posted this. the reason i was considering this car is b/c i found a turbo kit (forget the website) that gives this car 265 at the crank which is 100 more than stock.

If you're adding 100 hp to the engine, you better be planning on doing a lot more to the internals than just bolting on the turbo.

Consider also a motor swap from a trusted shop with a solid reputation. If you can find a coupe with a solid chassis but blown motor for cheap, add few grand on top of that to put a new or almost-new USDM or JDM WRX drivetrain in there, depending on what you're looking for...
