It's come to my attention that some may confuse me with another user going by the name Coronado Gold....well we are 2 different people and I am only providing links to my own car.
It has taken me over 5 years to get it to the point it's at.
I've learned a LOT about fabrication, suspension, drivetrain, brakes, body, paint, and interior through the process so I look forward to being a useful resource in the near future.
My car can be seen at http://firstgenfirebird.org/show/closeup.mv?CarID=642

Nice!!!! what did it take you to get those power seats in there?

The seats were really pretty simple. They are almost a direct bolt in. The front brackets match the holes in the floor pans perfectly, then rears only require a little alteration to work. As for power it runs from an always hot source under the dash....that way the seat can be adjusted before getting in the car. ;)

I'm not sure if the grand am seats will be a direct bolt in, but it wouldn't be hard to cut the "feet" off the brackets and use some 1/16th inch flat bar to make feet to bolt right in!

well, I just sold my Grand Am seats, so that idea is out of the question, looks like I'm gonna try and find a set of 4th gen leather seats. I cant belive that they haven't changed the bolt pattern since the 1st gens.

I know it's crazy.....something else that hasn't changed is the width of the dash.....4th gen dash fits nicely in a first gen! Check the site again later I'll try to add pics of the seats. Dash is waiting 'til I have time to make the swap.

Post when you have more pics up somewhere, dash swap should be interesting.
