Fiberglass paint

Im trying to paint my interior someone told me they have a fiberglass paint where you can spry it on plastic, wood, etc. and it gives it that shiny fiberglass look is this true and if so what is it and where can i find it

Are you trying to pint vinyl, like door panels, dash...headliner, etc? If so just use a dye like SEM colorcoat or VHT penitrating vinyl dye. I prefer SEM mylself.

Well, VHT penetrates and re-dyes the surface. SEM works like a dye in the end on vinyl but is a coating. For what you want use SEM. Use SEM Colorcoat. Prep as discribed on the can. Clean plastic/vinyl first well with a good cleaner/degreaser like special cleaner concentrate. Afterwords use some wax and grease remover. I sometimes follow this by wiping with some lacquer thinner. After this prep the vinyl with vinly prep and follow the directions on the can, then you are ready to spreay the vinyl with the dye. For plastic spray with plastic prep. Then sand with 400 grit sandpaper, then clean again with a plastic prep, SEM, Dupont, etc all make plastic prep.

After this use either SEM adhesion promoter or sand free. Apply via directions on can. Then spray the colorcoat on. For a very high gloss, follow your chosen color with some SEM high gloss clear, that should give you one heck of a shine.

if you want that fiberglass look you gotta make the plastic smooth sand with a 150 sandpaper then use spot filler its putty used in fiberlgassin it sands nice and once you have the plastic smooth paint with the fusion it will look so good you cant tell if its dry or wet. MCL.
