What is the correct way to check the coils on a 2000 5.4? Thanks

The correct way is to stress test them using a wds (worldwide diagnostic system) this is a dealer tool and we usually don't even stress test unless we have a random miss. We usually put in a plug and a coil for a cylinder with a miss code. Usually the problem is the coil, not to plug.
