1996 Astro Stereo

Hello again, I am looking to change the original am/fm stereo to a cd player version,some times it make noise like not geting stations well, I check the speakers as posible broken, but not, then the antenna look like working well so the stereo it self is posible to be the problem...any way I want a cd player..
it look like the stereo (am/fm and cd) for a 2001 cavalier will fit the connections and the size...
Any idea of a normal not delco stereo that fit the space?
