yup, some cool stuff there on that webpage. Nice pics of diaries, I like it a lot!
Good to have you on board!
Consider it this way; if you didn't have it, we wouldn't know about it. Yeah, it's ugly, but it's functional (could think of a number of things that are exactly that :) )

hi Marc ,
thank you very much !
i am certainly interested in the Lusso pics and you can have all pictures from the Völkl spider but donīt expect much , itīs a very simple kit , only a few parts ...
ok ,doing it curbside with some added details ,wheels , interior should be a good base . building it with engine is a real problem ,iīm trying hard to find engine pictures from this car , also detailed interior pics.
one possibility would be to have a 166mm from MFH to copy the engine in tin or resin , but buying such a MFH kit is always a high investment !
generally for pictures >> what you see on my web in "my cars and kits" is present here and i can take photos , also from single parts or groups of the kits .
for me i will build the metal Lusso from "small wheels" , a real challenge,
iīve never done a full metal kit before .
thank you very much !

That's what I thought. I have a 750 S Monza from them. But the Monza is a full kit, curbside though, but still okay. Whereas your Vignale Spider appears to be a slotcar body only, correct? Are there any PE parts included (i.e. for the grille)? Does the interieur part incl. a driver figure?
one possibility would be to have a 166mm from MFH to copy the engine in tin or resin...
that's exactly what I'll do with the 750 Monza. I'll take Hiro's 500 F2....(at least, that's what I've planned) It should work out, it has the 4 cylinder Lampredi engine.
btw, check this website for lots of Ferrari pics:
http://www.barchetta.cc/All.Ferraris/ferrari.by.serial.number.summary/index.html
We not only live in the same country but share the same passion for modelling of Ferrari 1/24 kits...

oops , i was wrong with the engine idea (166mm) .... :p , good to know..
your main interesting is 1/24 ferrari modeling ? wow ! iīm sure we can share this and complete each otherīs knowledge ! i know exactly 5 persons including you with especially this hobby , all over the world >>netherlands , germany , belgium , singapore . we all share pictures , experience , new ideas and how to build ferrariīs wich you canīt get as kit , mix-projects with diecast as base .
one thing i must learn is resin and tin moulding with multi-piece mouldes,
thatīs a real blockade in acting for me not to be used in doing this .
the vignale spider has no PE parts , a slot kit , i was wrong as i ordered it - thereīs a better version for complete curbside building.other side Völkelīs chassis i would not use - iīm sure , so itīs ok , but alot scratchbuilding .here (http://www.netbaer.net/PRIVATCOLLECTION/HTML-SITES-STREET-LE-MANS/STREET-LE-MANS/225SVIGNALE-VOELKL.html) you see the content , it has a interior-all-in-one part , driverīs head separated.
if you copy this F500 engine - contact me , iīll be your client for this
iīm planning to offer engine sets in tin for the future , for example the 365GT4BB engine from my web in tin , or a 250 LM engine for all who cannot buy a Climax kit - like me , the last one left ebay for 666.- USD
for me the one and only is copying bodies , resin bodies as we know it from most kits are for my usage too thick ! no chance to saw it out and make parts moving...visible engine rooms ..trunks ...
i can imagin to make a one piece mould with non fluid latex as negative moulde and than brush it thinn with resin , pouring is too difficult with so much openings like windows and hoods , lights .
a lot to talk about !!!
nice to meet you here ! did we have any ebay contact before ? nearly impossible - not to have had

oops , i was wrong with the engine idea (166mm) ....
No, you were not! Sorry, I gave a bad reply, I guess.
It's correct, that 166 and 225 engines are very similar. Basically, all "small" V12 engines (166, 212, 225, 250, 275...) derive from the old Colombo engine which started as a 125. That's a 12 cylinder with 1.5 litres displacement only!
For the 225 Vignale Spider I would recommend any 250 kit (SWB, GT, GTO), just change the carburettors. That should work! No need to get an expensive Hiro kit for that.
The 500, 625 and 750 models all had a 4 cylinder engine, derived from the 500 F2 formula monoposto. And the Hiro kit is the only 4 cylinder Ferrari kit in 1/24 scale I know of.
All the best, Marc

They do have both 250LM and 250 GTO Series II molds. And Aston Martin too. I'm pretty sure they will release them at some point in time. They promised 340MM last year too, but it never was released. I don't see any reason to release 246 Dino, given there are excellent Fujimi kit of this car. If they would make a 206 - then we're talking. We'll see I guess.

Hi Christian,
I'm from Malaysia and I'm also building 1/24 Ferraris. My current project is a full-detailed Ferrari 250LM. I'm using the Academy 250LM body. I don't have that much money to buy any resin kits so I cast the engine myself. I have cast the engine (using clear resin) from an Italeri 250GTO and will cast the gear box from the Revell metal kit to combine with it. I'm still experimenting with the resin casting though.

I'm not progressing much for the time being. I'm a bit busy for the past few weeks and I didn't have the time for any progress. I just managed to cut the doors, front and rear hood/bonnet and start a bit on the frame.
I need to re-cast the engine though because the previous cast is not so good. I don't have any progress pictures for now, sorry.
