I hate all Nissans

They are all heavy and ugly. They look like they were formed from a blob of clay. The interiors are complete garbage. They all moan like apes, and the drivers act like gorillas pounding their chests like they have something to prove (The chest pounding Nissan gorilla driver is a good match for the blond bitch Jetta/Beetle driver). The drivers are also non-enthusiasts and are only concerned with straight line 'speed' and not about handling. I drove a 350Z and it felt like a fatty sport sedan (I'm being generous), not a sportscar. The seats were like couches. And what is the deal with these damn Altimas drafting around thinking they're the shit? I came across a 3.5SE Altima and the license plate frame said "Betcha wish ya got tha 3.5". Uhh, no. I do not wish I got any kind of fat, heavy front wheel drive Altima, 3.5 or not. And I see alot of 2.5 "SL" Altimas with chrome 20" RIMZzzzzzzzzzzzzz (KWOME WEEEMZ MANG day bee twunneez). I would rather take the bus than take an Altima for free. Maxima is the same only worse because its even fatter. And then theres the ugly ass Infiniti Q45 with the fricken ginormous headlights. wtf were they thinking!?!? Compensating for something? The M is the opposite and has HUGE (Trump voice 'uge) ass taillights. The G35 coupe is the ultimate poseur machine, and the grill and headlights are wack. It also happens to be incredibly boring to drive. G35 sedan is so boring to even look at so I don't want to comment on it. QX56 is just flat out ugly, a fat typical SUV I want to blow up when it gets in my way. If I was a multimillionaire I would buy all of the QX56s and burn them to the ground. FX doesn't know if it wants to be a car or SUV, and ends up looking like a hippo from the rather large rear-end (same goes for the moo-rano). The exhaust moan is like a hippo farting. POS appliances, the lot of them. I don't even like the Silvias or Skyline GTRs. Give me an MR2 Turbo with better balance and handling over a Silvia, and a lightweight, crisp handling RX7 over the fatty lumbering Skyline. Nissan likes to sue everybody (Nissan.com, Audi's Q, etc), and act all bitchy towards BMW (not that I like modern BMWs either). In conclusion, Nissan is the only Japanese car company I hate. It would be great if the company would cease to exist.

you obviously have bad experiences with them but your comments on how an mr2 will beat a silvia or an rx7 will beat a skyline are ignorant at best. an ARTA garaiya stock(with the nissan SR20DE and everything) or a s15 spec R stock will beat an MR2 on any track and an r34 GTR vspec II nur will beat a rx7 spirit R on all but the tightest of tracks.

i agree with some of what he says. mainly the SUVs being ugly. and a fair amount of nissan 350z owners are asshats around here. theres a guy who lives around the corner from me with a white G35 and a blue G35(one is the base model and the other is the top end one. i believe one is RWD and the other is AWD) and he is a piss-ant. he doesn't know squat about cars, just that his make him look richer than he is(ultimate poser machine! lol). he has those two cars, and lives in a small one story brick house with two dalmatians and some woman stupid enough to live with him.

My mom owns an Altima and I must say it's one of the funnest cars I've driven. It's good looking, good gas milage, and not a bad performance buy.

As for the 3.5 I take it you've raced a few and lost big time. I know a guy that had a 427 put in his truck and he lost to a 3.5. It was pretty funny stuff.

I have not read one review that says the 350Z handles as bad as you say it does...actually haven't read a bad review about its handling period. As far as the rim thing goes, there are idiots with all types of lower end cars with big ass rims, rather American or Import. But the same thing you say about 350 owners I used to think about Mustang owners,even though some still piss me off...whole other topic, the few often mess it up for the majority. You can't make broad generalizations because you usually end up being wrong and making an ass out of yourself.

It's his opinion he's entitled to it. My take I only hate newer Nissan's, and I really wouldn't say hate. I just think new ones are ugly. The 350Z ugly, Nissan SUVs ugly, Titan second best truck on the market and well built just ugly, G35s ugly. Now while I'm not a Skyline nut rider I think they look nice and the 240s looked cool. I think the 300ZX was a beautiful car and I love the 240ZX, and 260ZXs. As well even though it's a box I think nickel-dimes (510s) are cool. The Nissan Hardbody trucks were OK as well. Whoever is their current designer or designers suck that's all.

I'm not a big fan of some Nissans either, but geez, I don't go making BS claims about them. I don't like the Silvia, but I still respect its 50/50 weight balancing, well-sorted chassis, and stellar rear suspension. I really don't like the R34 GT-R, but the fact is that short of a Corvette Z06, it's the most potent track weapon that you can buy for under $60,000. And I really don't know how you can hate the Altima. Sure, there are a lot of owners who blow the car way out of proportion, but for those of us down-to-earth enthusiasts, it's still the best family sedan in years - reminds me a lot of the 1st generation Taurus SHO in form and function.

when you get around to driving an R34 GTR, come back to this thread and tell me you hate it.

I can understand the opinion of nissans though. Consumer Reports rates nissans as one of the worst imports. I have a friend who drives a 95 altima. A guy at his work leaned up against his car and left a dent in the drivers side front quarterpanel. That shows it's not very strong. Another one of my friends drive a 94 altima. He bumped into a concrete barrier and creased his bumper. This shows the bodies are not very strong, but it may just be the altima.

I don't particuarly like Nissans, it's mainly the chest-beating fanboys that put me off. Just because a Skyline GTS says "Skyline" on it, doesn't mean it's any faster than a Honda Accord, the Silvia is only good if your main intentions are drifting around tracks like an idiot, the Skyline GTR is potent, but ATTESSA was really a waste of time in the car, why make the car RWD 90% of the time and then stuff more weight into the front in the form of a diff? It certainly allows for a lot of understeer compared to its FR and MR counterparts. Any other Nissan is simply a mediocre family car.

In fact the only Nissan I am true fan of is the Z Cars.

yes i have driven one. my mate has an r34 GTR.

it's a reall quick car, the engine is easy to mod. and has alot of potential. plus the GTR has an awesome reputation on the tracks. it deserves respect.

…… With the exception of the Sentra, Nissan really isn’t in the business of small, efficient automobiles anymore (domestically).
And where I live, you easily see ten Altimas and Maximas to every one Sentra.

The Nissans have become almost like a more sophisticated Pontiac to me.
Big, brawny bodies and large, torquey motors. Both companies tend to like the round gun barrel design details- in gauge pods, interior vents. Pontiac with huge driving and reverse lights, and Nissan with it’s factory Tuner-style headlights and taillights.
The Maxima is HUGE- and even if it’s not terribly heavy for its’ size- it looks it.
Even the Altima has become a full-on mid-size.

Regardless of where the engineering is done underneath, the Nissans all have a look and overall feel that tends to attract certain personality types. Whether you love’m or hate’m, that’s pretty much a fact.

I would agree I like the last gen 300 much more than the new ugly ass 350.

Well, I am not going to go off on a cursing rampage at this obvious idiot, because it's not worth getting banned for and I am sure his shrink will up his meds soon. Plus, I have had time to cool off while reading all of your non-idiotic posts. But to make things short, I love Nissans. The only car I automobile I have ever owned was a 1996 Nissan hardbody pickup which has to be the least sporty Nissan ever made but I still loved it. I really like Nissan's torque efficient drivetrains and I cant say that any other company name sums up Japan as well as... NISSAN. I hope to own many 240sx's, 300zx's, old school Z's, some Sentras for cheap-sleeper projects and many others to come.

I have never owned a Japanese car, either of Asian or U.S. manufacture.

When the new generation Altimas came out about 5 years ago they looked great. I test-drove one and it was dull and flabby feeling, like a base-model Pontiac rental car.

Professional mechanics (one of my sons included) have told me Nissans are not technician-friendly. It takes longer to access components, remove and replace them, driving up repair costs for owners.

On the other hand I personally have found my BMW's much easier to work on than my Chevys, old and new.

With Mr. Ghosn's multi-continent leadership I think Nissan is poised for comeback over the next several years.

I agree, the FXs do look like hippos(attractive hippos at that) and they dont know if they are a car or SUV, adding more reasons I like them. An SUV that attractive with that much room inside should not have a 0-60 of 7.3, its amazing. The interior of a new Maxima rivals that of a much more expensive car. Now yes, some Nissan owners put 22s on their altimas and do them wrong but that is not all and you can say that about any brand of car.
