how much money do you have? and you should do atleast 2 12"s, you can pick up 2 12" RE's for under 200 depending on where you live, i live in Va and it was 154$ including S&H. do you have an amp, wiring, box?

if you're gonna make a sub box ..... do atleast 1 12" or 2 10's. Look at the list in that "start of a newbie thread," the second post has a list of brands in categories of good, bad, ugly ... it's a pretty good list.

i live in australia so those prices mean nothing to me sorry mate!
well in aussie dollars i was previously allowing up to $1500 for the whole shebang, which at the time was this big dream of all sony gear an amp for the speakers, a seperate one for like two 12" subs etc etc without wiring boxes. so i dont see any reason to lower that price jst coz i want different stuff, i want good gear...
but yeh i really dont know i think id much rather a single 12" or 10", is there really much difference? i listen to a lot of heavy, hardcore, screamo sorta stuff, but in a car dont like music OVERLY loud, id rather quality than quantity....
and y 'at least 2 12"s'....
