The way you HAVE to make sense of these things, is to pick out what you want next.
Take a test drive in a 00-02 GT stang, manual ofcoarse. I guarentee you you'll love the car like i did. Yeah they aren't all that powerfull, but they are pretty light coupled with the 4.6L/manual 5 speed...it's a good marriage. I was able to chirp third hard in the stock configuration (that never gets old btw/except when you need a new clutch)..lol..
Anyway, thats infact my next car, most likely a 02/03 stang..which i can pickup for under 13K w/under 60k miles...not bad.

Sorry to hear that man, I've totalled a couple cars myself..its a terrible feeling.
If you want a mustang, get a real one such as the Roush. Buddy of mine just picked up an 02 with 12k miles for 17g's.
