i would have to advise against the ssautochrome turbo kits they might last a month if your lucky. athough i have not used them there are many many comlaints one the internet and there is also an article showing that the housing on thier turbo was glued together. if you want cheap i would say go with a junkyard setup. and for that visit homemadeturbo.com or turbod16.com. and while you are there seach for ssautochrome(aslo not as ssautocrap, ssautoshit and many other names.

so what if the turbo is glue together jsut rip everything down and do a rebuild yourself that will insure quality.

the First two kits are not bad... the last two... I would buy the First one vecco makes nice stuff.

If you know about turbos you can build a kit relatively easely.

the main part is having a good turbo, I repeat don't skimp on your turbo. the quality of the other stuff is kinda not that important. a desent turbo will cost you 200+ (used) or 400+ (new)

SSautochome manifolds are Fine, they just need a Fex downpipe, or all the flex of on the downpipe will be exerted on the manifold that is why they crack.

BOV... any one is fine, if you get picky on sound... they you will pay for it... top ones are Greddy, HKS and Apex'i.

Down pipe & Charge pipes... fairly easy to make if you have access to a Welder, Mandrel U-bends & a small flex pipe.

Intercooler... New or used... the XS Speed ones are pretty nice my Friends have one one there car.

Fuel managment. Injectors, FMU or Chiped Program.
my frinds run Uberdata with DSM 450cc injectors, works Great... runs like stock.

Optional, Boost controler & external wastegate.

yeah definetly visit homemadeturbo.com

the first 2 look ok and stay away from ssac and the last one suggests no managment
If there is one important thing about doing a turbo its managment.
Try looking into making your own kit (if you have mechanical background) you could build a decent kit cheaper.
Havent made my own kit yet but have been reading about it for a while and want to boost soon :smokin:
Well good luck on whatever you choose

i was looking at those kits on ebay too but i just decided to go for an ls swap lol but i wouldve gone with homemade turbo because one- it would be more fun and a better learning experience 2- i would just love to be able to drive my car with a turbo and know that i did everything myself CUSTOM haha and 3- the kits just look cheap i think
