2000 Bravada won't start-intermittent

2 weeks ago I started my 2000 Bravada up, pulled out of the parking space and all of the lights on the dash went crazy and the motor died. After a few tries, it re-started and I got it back into a parked position. I tried to re-start and nothing.
After a few days of trying to start it up, I got it towed to a shop and it started right up for them for 3 days in a row. They changed a battery cable, cleaned off my connections and told me to come pick it up. The next morning after getting it back, I went out to start the truck and again it wouldn't turn over. I had it towed AGAIN, back to the auto shop and they told me it was the fuel pump. I got the fuel pump and the fuel filter changed, it ran great for about 4 days and then it died on me while I was sitting at a light. After sitting for about 15 minutes, I finally got it started and into a parking spot. I stopped the engine and could not get it to restart. It just kept turning over, but never catching. Same thing that was happpening before I got the fuel pump replaced. I towed it over to the auto shop AGAIN this morning and they told me that it is starting fine. What in the world could be wrong with this truck?

I've had a similar problem, and I've always figured it's the fuel pump acting up. With yours being replaced, and the problem remaining, I'm more skeptical...

I can tell you this much - I've changed the fuel filter and cleaned the heck out of the air intake system, and the problem has only happened four or five times in the past year, but it's beyond my understanding and research.

My exact symptoms are the engine turning over and catching briefly, but then immediately dying...

Thanks-
Does anyone think it might have something to do with the PassLock system?
I have researched online all night and it looks like cars with the passlock all start having this problem.
Any recommendations?
