I know I've been kinda slacking on here, but during the summer I don't post as much as I do other times, mainly because I'm not sitting here all day.
Anyhow, I finally got my tat. It DOES NOT hurt anything like what people tell you. its between my shoulders, and it took a lengthy 7.5 hours to do. As soon as I get pics of it, I'll post them.
I love the thing, but I can't go swimmin for 2 weeks!@! dammit.

Sweet man. I definately wanna see some pics. I've actually been thinking about getting one lately. But I want to wait a few years and get my body up to par. Not that it'll take long since im skinny but id like to get to a personal muscular level before i decide. Until you get pics, what is it of?

It's a big cross ....with a maltese cross (fire fighter emblem) inside it, and a rose at the bottom in memory of my sister Rose Ann. Its tight as hell, and i'd do it again. I prolly will get another in a few years.

so its not that bad. I want a maltese cross inbetwen my shoulder blades. Ive wanted it for years but I just havent come up with the perfect design yet. So the pain isnt that bad between the shoulders since its right on the spine??

If your getting inked right over bone, like the spine, it doesn't hurt. Going over muscle isn't that bad but it has it's moments, my only tat is on my right calf and it had it's moments. Going over fatty tissue, stomach, lovehandle area of back, hurts.
Between the shoulder blades isn't bad, if you go under your shoulder blades, it hurts like hell. My friend got a tat that covers ALOT of his back.
Jeverett, that sounds sweet, can't wait for the pics.

Well I've got one between my shoulder blades and another on my arm, and I'll tell you the shoulder didn't hurt at all in comparison to when the needle was approacing the inside of my arm. Let me tell you I was glad that the design I had drawn didn't wrap all the way around my arm.

Hey, I have really stupid question, if you get a tat on your back what do you do with it? look at in the mirror?
sorry for my ignorance but the thought of millions of old people with blobs on there skin in 20-30 years really scares me.

I just wanted it and its kinda big for me to put on my arm. Plus it's easier to hide when I need to look professional. The reason I got mine is it has alot of meaning put into it. When I get the pics up I'll explain in more detail.

Well I got pics, finally. THe lighting is crap and it doesn't show NEAR the detail thats actually in it. Sorry if their big, I havent figured photobucket
out yet. And it is centered, the lady working the camera wasnt too steady.

I have a pic on my phone, but I gotta get it off somehow. I also have to go get it touched up in just a few little barely noticeable places, but I'm waiting till the winter time.
