Do whatever it takes. I have gone through the fender wells, done some from underneath the van and some from inside with the doghouse off....

I have a '94. When I changed those I was able to do the right side (passenger) from inside the van. On the left side I was able to reach up from underneath the van and did it without having to use any extensions. You won't be able to see what you are doing only by feeling your way around. A good tip I learned when you put the new plugs in cut yourself a 4 or 5 inch piece of high temp hose that fits snug over the end of the plug. This makes the plug easier to handle and help you get it threaded in the engine block. It works awesome. patience... good luck

you could use the end of a old plug wire to help thread new plugs.

I have read every comment in this forum and I have found a mechanic who will do the Job for $100.00 dollars. It might be very much worth that because it only has to be done every 100,000 miles. He will do the whole service and replace any worn hoses as well. I think that is the I will solve this problem. Thanks for the help.

easiest way to replace your spark plugs is to have someone else do it for you!!!

Please check the date on threads before responding to them. This one is two years old and the original poster probably has replaced them at least once by now.
