I recently bought a 1998 police interceptor and the fuel gauge doesn't seem to work. Any ideas as to what is wrong with it? Easy or inexpensive fix? Any help would be much appreciated.

Where exactly would I look to find the ground for the gas tank?
I'd also like to add that the gauge is stuck a little above full, I don't know if this helps any...

i would actually wait till your low on fuel and tap on the glass in front of the gauge to see if its just stuck then if not, i would call a ford dealership and ask a technician what usually causes this problem you are having. i bet they can give you an answer. actually im surprised that one of the guys on here that work on fleets of these vics didnt answer you yet. but hey give it a day i bet you will get an answer
