WHATS GOING on, im havin alittle bit of trouble and i dont know what could be going wrong. i just got the car. and when i bought it had a head unit in it. jvc to be exact and everything worked fine, speakers radio everything. well when i paid for the car and went back to pick it up, i noticed that the bastards riped out the radio. well i hooked another head unit in there and i blew acouple fuses but finally got it. after replacing a fuse under the hood that i didnt notice was blown. i checked every single fuse i could think of. now the radio and c.d player and all the head unit stuff works. but im gettin NO sound out of the speakers what so ever. i turn the head unit all the way up, and no power is getting to the speakers. asked a guy from circuit city, and he couldnt figure it out. please help!

Is the headunit you have now new? If not it might be messed up. That or during your fuse blowing spree you blew the amp in the headunit before the fuse blew, it happenes sometimes. Fuses aren't failsafe.

Along with checking the radio's fuse, I'd check the resistance of each speaker. If they took out the radio, they may have replaced the speakers with whatever trashy things they had laying around. I've seen systems totally shut down because one speaker had a blown voice coil, or a speaker wire was touching metal. Power to the deck stays on, but there's no sound. Also...what kind of car?
