93 acura integra problem

I can't seem to find out what's going on with my car. I have an automatic 93 acura integra. It still runs okay with some minor problems. When I'm at a complete stop, my car will start to sputter and the idling is real bad (but that only happens from time to time). If I have my a/c on, then it's even worse and it does it at every stop. Sometimes when I press on the gas to fast, my car will sputter while I'm driving. This has been going on for awhile now and it only does it from time to time. It started happening when my car died out and I had to get the ignition coil switched out. Apparently the mechanic put my wires on wrong so I was driving for a couple months with my wires mixed up. It finally died out on and I couldn't figure out why. We finally switched the wires back and my car started, but then I started having problems with the rough idling and the sputtering. I've changed the wires and the spark plugs a couple times already and it doesn't help. The only other thing that I can think of is it might just be my distributor. Could someone please help me. I really want to use my a/c cause it's too hot down south to go without it.

Have you kept up on maintenace for the car? Are you getting a check engine light or is your ecu throwing any codes?
