1996 Cavalier Overheating

My 1996 Cavalier keeps overheating. We have changed the water pump,the thermostat,flushed the radiator and it still goes to the red zone in minutes. Any ideas?? Please help!

Start your engine cold, or below 195 and wait for the temp to climb a little bit above that. Your radiator fan should come on when the temp is above 195. If it doesn't refer to this thread.

Now my coolant is not leaving the resevoir.There is no radiator cap , just this resevoir to put it in. Any ideas?

You probably didn't bleed the air out of the system. There is a screw on the t-stat housing and on the heater bypass pipe.

Blown head gasket? Check for antifreeze in your oil.

i would go with cooling fan
