At what temperture should the electric fan kick on? I've checked the fan and replaced the coolant temp sensor.

The fan does not come on. I connected the fan straight to the battery and it does work. Where in the engine compartment is the relay located?

passenger side of the engine compartment, there is a black cover on it.... it runs parallel to the side. let me know if you need anything else.
oh yeah, your cover should be marked as to which relay is the fan relay. It really sounds to me as if it is the relay......good luck my friend.

Thanks Ferg. When I turn on the A/C the fan starts right up. I assumed that the fan would start when the coolant temp got to hot. Am I wrong?

You are right. The fan should also turn on when it gets too hot. I don't know what the spec is for the 92 but my 88 comes on around 210-220. Since my cooling system is in good shape, it rarely comes on except when I run my a/c.
