Ignition Switch?

ive searched and read all about replacing the ignition switch but could not find the symptum i have. i have a 96 blazer and i parked it for about a month. the last few weeks its been raining/flooding and everything is real wet. i went outside to start it up and no starter responce. everything else comes on, it should start up but i dont even get a click. the connections, batt, and starter are all good. is it my ignition switch? or is it something to do with all the rain?

could be from the rain, when you say flood, how much? an inch or a foot? it could also just need a jump, my hondas battery is 3 months old, sat for a month, every thing came on, but starter didnt respond, g pa put it on the charger, 10 seconds later, little rice burner fired up

its been raining for 2 weeks and we have had about 12 inches of rain in that time. ill just keep trying it.
