Seatbelts

In my 2001 Cavalier Z24 when you un-buckle, the seatbelts don't retract. I was wondering if this has happened to any of you? Is there a way to fix this or will I just have to buy new ones from the dealership?

The retractor coil could be sprung or off track. You could remove it and inspect it. If that is the problem it would be visibly noticable.
