ok so I was telling my dad that when I get my car I want to upgrade the turbo in it. i want to get a tsi 2gen, so he is ok with me doing that and all but he and myself want to make sure that it is done right.
I am going to go with the big 16g and I know that it is a bolt on and I will need to upgade my fule system but the thing that I and my dad were wondering about is should I get a new ignition system put in it, like msd ect... And if I dont how would my car run after that.
thanks a ton
Ben

I know it is not a necessity to upgrade the ignition system just because your putting in a bigger turbo. It won't hurt though.
About the only thing you can really do to upgrade the ignition system is a more powerful coil pack, thicker wires, and new plugs.
MSD is a good brand, but if you go with a new coil, go with the Screamin Demon on www.howellautomotive.com. More power than MSD. I am still considering getting it, but it's like $70. MSD is just as expensive.
