Shift light install

I am istalling a shift light in a 98 hinda civic EX and I need to know where to hook the tach wire to. Does it hook into the ignition? Does anyone have pics and instruction on how to install?:confused:

go to www.autometer.com they have instructions there. u can just look around for the shift lite installation
