96 Silverado won't start after auto start removed

Just helping a buddy remove his stereo and astro start from his truck he was selling. Clipped the astro start out of the truck but when we were finished, his truck wouldn't start. No crank. You could hear the pump kicking in but it won't turn over at all. I'm guessing it's probably part of the security system but don't know how to get it restarted or reset. Any suggestions?

Fixed the problem...anti-crank wires from the astro start had to be connected together. Connected them, truck worked fine.
