88 Taurus Windshield Wipers

I was just given an 88 taurus wagon from a family member and i figure since i just put 500 into the brakes i might as well try and fix this, At some point when my uncle owned it the wiper switch went to he just installed a switch on the dash that allows the wipers to work but only on one speed, But i would like for the windshield washers to still work and i'm wondering if theres a way i can just install a button on the dash that would let the sprayers work.

Sure it can be done. You just need some generic switch and you'll need to wire it up to the sprayer power circuit. The problem will be getting to it. If you can find a wiring diagram then you can start splicing those wires, or you can just run try to find out where the power hooks up to the sprayer and run your own line from ground to the sprayer to the positive (+) battery terminal.
