1997 2.2 tach

My friend is looking for his tach wire for his 1997 2.2 liter stickshift. It would be nice to get the exact location, not just, "its by the ignition module". Side of the car, description of the part its near, where it is from there and what color(white?) The booklet that we got says its orange and white.
Fast responses would be great..

EDIT:
KK we found it. It is on the right side of the engine near the windshield(if your looking at the windshield). Its kind of behind a little plastic black piece that you can pull off without tools but you can still get to the WHITE wire. It is with a bunch of wires and plugs into something. The reson i found it is that i figured that since his car didn't have one in the first place, i dont think GM would have taken the time to exclude that wire from it, and it ran into the dash direction and it worked.
