I'm installing theses springs on Tuesday, my question is these have been chopped about a coil and half each, has anybody else done this ?
How bad is the ride ?
How low is the drop ?
Any help would be appreciated...

I hope you got those springs for free, because I wouldn't cut my springs (stock or aftermarket) if someone paid me.
IMO cutting springs is not a good idea. If you want your car slammed save up some dough and get different springs with a lower drop or get coilovers.
Then again, some people on this forum have done it and say they love it so to each their own. Good luck with the install anyway. I hope you like it, but IMO it would be far worth the wait to save up for the right parts.

Springs are designed to have a certian rate for the size of the spring. I have heard that it is a bad idea to chop you coils. Ditto -- save up and get the right ones. If you dont, good luck.

It's the law not to speed, but people still do.
And for the springs, I know they say that don't cut them, but the QUESTION is has anyone ever done this, and what's their experience....
thnx

been there, done that, regreted it
it'll 'eat' up your struts faster & the performance ain't as good as it looks
might as well save up for better & lower springs like Neuspeed race or something
hope it helps
