not f*cking joking anymore.

so i thought my life couldn't get any worse lately.

to start it off, i haven't had a job in 6 weeks. 6 fucking weeks. and it's not even like i haven't been trying to find one. i've handed out at least 50 resumes so far, and not a single fucking place has called me back. so i don't have a job, and i'm FLAT broke. so what do my parents do to make it all "better"? they take away usage of my car. until i find a job, i'm only allowed to use the car until 5pm on weekdays (to look for work), and not at all on weekends. if i want to get around, i have to get rides from other people. ok, so great, now not only do i not have any money or a job, i now have no car and my social life in also in jeopardy.

also bring into consideration the fact that since i don't have any money, the idea of me getting my RX-7 just keeps getting more and more distant and unlikely.

so that's all pretty bad. so i decide last night that i'd like to go to a party near-by, get really sloshed and forget all this mess, maybe feel a bit better. well i did get sloshed, and i did have alot of fun. but what do i wake up to this morning? the fact that my camera has been stolen. my fucking Canon Powershot A70 digital camera is fucking up and gone. we searched the whole fucking house. and as if that wasn't insult enough, this is the SECOND digital camera i've had stolen now. AND i'm going to school for photography in september so yeah...i KIND OF fucking NEED that camera...and i'm too poor to buy another one, and fuck if my parents will buy me one...

so yeah i'm about ready to stick a fucking gun in my mouth right now.

Damn man that sucks. About the jobs, have you had any interviews yet? Done any follow-ups? Don't know what to say about the digi cam, maybe talk to your parents about the situation and hopefully you guys can come to an agreement of some sort.

Sorry to hear about all that crap. I think we have all been there before with the no job/broke off your ass thing and it sucks but once you get a job and get a paycheck youll forget all about it and things will be peachy.

You said you handed out resumes, have you tried looking for really crappy jobs like flipping burgers at mc donalds? It might not be a fun or prestigeous job but its something until you can find another job.

Dude, take the gun out of your mouth, go a group of people who were at the party, ask them who has your camera, shoot the first 2 or 3 people and trust me, someone will find your camera for you.

okay enough of me being a smart ass. Sorry to hear about your camera. Sorry to hear you have no job. I know how it feels. omg, do I know how it feels. lol.. anyways, things are never that bad when you live with your parents trust me. You'll get a job, move out be financially stable and dream of the days when this was your worst issue. And you know it.

Ouch - the shit is stacking up, but as long as you have a roof over your head and food on the table, your prospects will eventually improve.

Dude! I've had two A70s stolen too!! Both at parties that I've had at my place. And my third one (Actually my brother's) got that infamous g-13 error or whatever it was: the one that if you dont' go to Cannon's site and download some bullshit driver, the lens only comes partially out and once it does that you can never use the camera again? Yeah I go thtat on my THIRD A70. I definately feel for you.

McDonalds hires anyone no joke, I quit my job and than realized I couldn't find another one for like 3 months ended up flippin burgers for 7.25 an hour but at least I kept my car and didn't starve.

you're right, thankfully i do live at home and at least i'm not in any jeopardy of starving or not being able to come up with rent.

but with that said, i have my dignity and after working at one restaurant (which was a sit-down restaurant too, so it was much higher quality), and hating it, i've refused completely to work at any burger joints or any such place. i may be desperate for a job, but i haven't yet reached that point.

in fact i do have a couple of prospects now. $10 an hour to pack cereal boxes, can't go wrong.

but i'm still pretty depressed about my camera. i had it covered in stickers, it had scrapes and dings all over it from the adventures we've been on together, and it had so many little characteristic quarks that only i knew how to fix. plus it had a brand new 256mb card in it. i'm pretty fucking devastated and, while not a religious man, i'm praying it somehow makes it's way back to me.

try to get a job with construction they always need laborers. It might not be what you want but it could hold you over till you get that job that your looking for. Good luck with your job hunt man i feel ya pain!

Sorry to hear that Its the worst feeling when you get shit ripped off like that.

Life sometimes sucks, funny how humans, the most "advanced" organisms have all these things to make life easier and yet it is (I think) the hardest among all the living things. It will get better, its just the way it is, just don't kill yourself :)!
About a cammera, I would just buy one in some store like best-buy, use it and then return it saying some bullshit like "I am not satisfied with the quality." or something like that.
