window

i have a 95 bmw 325is and the drivers side window does its thing like it inches up and down but i realized that when you open up the door the window inches down and when you shut the door it inches up, for saftey reasons i believe. but when im driving the window does that continuesly, up and down all the time you have to open up the window to make it stop. i need some advice on how to fix this. thanks
