The other day I went out to my car and turn the key and nothing happens, starter doesnt even try to come on. The battery is fully charged and I have checked for loose connections. The shifter has been acting up lately, seems like it doesnt want to move good, bent linkage maybe, but anyway could it be the neutral switch that wont let it turn over?

possibly, do you have a manual or automatic?

when you turn the key to on do you have power to anything at all? dash lights, lights, radio?

Did you check the wire connections at the starter? A guy was just having a similar problem on here a week ago and one of the starter plugs was loose.

Did you make sure the battery ground was good and not corroded?

Finally have you done any work to the car recently that might have effected the starting system?
