hey i was wondering if anyone new if a 94-04 tailgate would fit on an 82-93 model? let me know :confused:

No.
I understand that they have a different hinge system and they have different lines.
So it isn't even worth while trying to do a swap.
New tailgates should be affordable, but you'll need the parts from inside yours.
Rockauto has 2 listed, and 1 is under $40.00, the other one is around $100.00
