Does anyone know the specs for the RDS CD/Cassette player in a '01 LS? I am very impressed with the sound. My friend has a '03 Tahoe with the BOSE init and it is very comparable in sound quality. I have thinking about replacing the front speakers with something that will hit the highs better but I need to know the wattage and RMS if anyone knows.

really dont need to change speakers unless they are blown just get a new head unit that is pushing out more or get a 4 channel 600 watt amp and hook all 4 speakers to it will sound nice going cheap on ebay

I highly doubt that the factory speakers would hold up for very long if at all to that much power.
